Welcome to Hardwired For Stories. Everyone enjoys a good story, whether it's fiction or fact, short or long, new or ancient. Somewhere deep within our brains we are hardwired for stories. The Mountain Ridge library contains thousands upon thousands of stories. You might learn some of them as you perform research (for example, the stories of the American Revolution or how the scientific method has changed the world). Others may help you learn more about the use of language, or just make you aware of how much pleasure can be found in a good book.

This site first began as a wiki in the summer of 2011 but much of the content of that original site was moved here in early 2018 after we received notification from Wikispaces that they were shutting down. It is maintained by Mountain Ridge librarian Pete Vincelette. His goal for the site is to provide a tool that helps MRMS students and staff access the many resources, activities and lessons available through our library. 
This site is a perpetual "work in progress".
